The Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, has made personnel changes in Police's publicity department.

In the mini reshuffle, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Patrick Onyango has been replaced by Superintendent of Police Rachael Kawala.

Onyango has been redeployed to the press and publications department, according to Police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke.

Onyango replaces SSP Lameck Kigozi, who has been appointed to replace Kawala in Wamala region.

Without giving details, Rusoke said there are more redeployments in the latest reshuffle.
