Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja is expected to assess the extent of damage caused by the recent floods that hit downtown Kampala following heavy rains.

The flooding, which submerged roads and business premises in areas such as Nakivubo, Kisenyi, and Katwe, disrupted transport and trade activities, leaving several traders counting losses worth millions of shillings. Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) engineers and disaster response teams have been working to clear blocked drainage channels and restore normalcy.


The Prime Minister’s visit aims to evaluate the situation firsthand and coordinate government support for affected communities and businesses.
